AERO Vodochody a.s. is one of the oldest aircraft manufacturers in the world and the biggest military producer in the Czech Republic. It ranks among the largest producers of military jet training aircraft in the world. The company’s output makes up about two thirds of the world production with aircraft  exported to more than 30 countries.

Business Activities 
The flagship of AERO’s production is the L-159 Combat & Training System, containing the single-seat L-159A Advanced Light Combat Aircraft designed for a variety of Air-to-Air, Air-to-Ground and Reconnaissance missions, 72 units of which were delivered to the Czech Air Force; the two-seat L-159B Advanced Training and Light Combat Aircraft primarily designed for Advanced and Operational/Lead-In Fighter Training; Mission Briefing and Debriefing Devices; Ground Based Training, including Full-Mission Simulator; Integrated Logistic Support. L-39/L-59/L-159 overhaul, upgrade and service life extension programs make an essential part of the AERO Military Program.

AERO’s activities in development and production of civil aircraft are represented by Ae270 large cabin, single-engine turboprop aircraft designed to perform a wide range of missions, including transport of passengers, bulk cargo or combinations of both.
