The Athens Multinational Sealift Coordination Centre's mission is to provide:

  • Acquisition of sealift assets through tender and chartering
  • Monitoring of chartered vessels upon user's request

    •  

      The Athens Multinational Sealift Coordination Centre (AMSCC) can provide effective support to the:
    • EU and NATO Rapid Deployment Forces (Battle Groups and NRFs)
    • EU and NATO led operations (Crisis Management Operations)
    • NATO and EU exercises during Peacetime
    • It can also support the Humanitarian Assistance operations either individually or collectively
    • UN missions as they are decided by the nations and coordinated via Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA)
