T-50 Golden Eagle – The New Generation Jet Trainer for Tomorrow's Fighter

Korea Aerospace Industries, Ltd (KAI) manufactures the only supersonic aircraft for advanced and operational training that its development has been completed and is in operation today.

The T-50 Golden Eagle is jointly developed by KAI and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics for the current and future generation fighter pilot training. The supersonic T-50 with its maneuverability, endurance and systems integration provides an excellent capability as an advanced jet (AJT) and lead in fighter trainer (LIFT).

The T-50 integrated training system provides pilots with the best training solution available. It incorporates a high performance fast jet trainer, a modern ground based training system, and a fully integrated logistics support package; all have been designed to provide the most efficient training environment at with a low life cycle cost. With its proven design and performance as evidenced by actual operations, a more than 140 aircraft commitment from the launch customer, completion of all development tasks including an extensive flight test program and weapon integration testing, as well as the modern aircraft design and operational concept, the T-50 will be a low risk solution with maximum benefit for the air forces who plan to acquire new generation jet trainer for training pilots for present and future generation fighters.
