AHC Oppervlaktechnieken BV with production sites in Eindhoven and Venlo, is part of Aalberts Industries Material Technology. Within AIMT the forces of surface treatment and heat treatment have been combined. Through intensive cooperation a comprehensive range of processes and treatments is available, covering all aspects of surface technology. The whole AIMT group consists out of 54 European sites, of which 4 are situated in the Netherlands. The other Dutch AIMT sites are H&ST Heat and Surface Treatment B.V. in Eindhoven and Mamesta B.V. in Lomm.

The functionality of industrial products is becoming more and more demanding, In this regard surface treatment is an important key technique. Surface treatment is not only applied to improve corrosion resistance – by applying the correct techniques, properties like wear resistance, corrosion resistance, brazing, anti-reflection, non-stick, roughness, electric conductivity, hardness and chemical resistance, can all be greatly improved.
