Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) for Military Applications

Our company is dealing with RFID, Access Control, Fleet Management and GPS applications.

RFID is, recently, a well spread technology for Armed Forces applications, worldwide.

Placing RFID tags on devices, units, vehicles, guns, even personnel we can have real time information for their movements in and out specified areas.
The picking of the information from the tag is being triggered via RFID antennas and readers placed in a way to have the best possible monitoring of the information.

The RFID tags can be either read-write ( in order to store several pieces of information and being able to alter them too ), just read ( having only their unique identification code ) , passive ( i.e. triggered only from the reader ) , active ( having a long life battery in them ), etc. according to the type of the specific application we want to develop.

We can thus have a better warehouse management system for ammunitions and supplies in general , a better service/maintenance system, requirements planning, expiration dates planning, MPS for the instruments, logistics accuracy and real time tracking, garage monitoring, in-out monitoring from buildings or areas for either vehicles or personnel or devices , better information in general and certainly interoperability with other forces and reduce of costs . 

It can be applied in all parts of the Armed Forces regardless if it is AirForce, Navy or Army. 

Similar applications are for civil usage too.
