Missiles are indispensible in modern warfare, as it provides military with the ability to attack and defend from long distances. Due to its importance, militaries are constantly looking for new development for missile systems and technologies.
The performance of missile is heavily dependent on the design and its systems integration. Therefore, when it comes to designing a missile, engineers have to maintain a good balance between requirements and performance. Each missile is heavily driven by these six components, namely, size, drive, type, guidance systems, warhead, and its design. Engineers have to possess sufficient knowledge on these influencing components in order to acquire or develop missile systems.
