DAVWIRE (Defense & Aviation Wiring Inc.), was formed in June of 2003 to provide "state-of-the-art" design and manufacturing capability of Wire Harnesses & Electrical Panel Assemblies to the Defense & Aviation market. These products are produced meeting Military and/or Civilian Standards. With the backing of Mactel Communications Inc., a 30+ year supplier to the Telecommunications market and DAVWIRE’s senior officer having 20+ years of aerospace experience.

DAVWIRE is positioned to provide the Aerospace and defense industry a quality product without the high costs normally incurred from manufacturing harnesses in facilities located on airfields and designed to hold aircraft, which equals high cost.

It has become apparent from the knowledge gained while working in the aerospace and defense industry for twenty years. that there are manufacturing solutions to the high cost of producing electrical assemblies. Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's) are in most cases not structured to manufacture the electrical parts of their products in the most cost efficient manner. Many have come to this conclusion by themselves or by following the automotive trends but solutions have not been readily available for the aerospace and defense industry. DAVWIRE is positioned to provide that solution.

The management of DAVWIRE comes from within the OEM segment and was directly responsible for the design and manufacture of these electrical components. Our product knowledge is very extensive and therefore know the issues that can be encountered and how to avoid them. The management of DAVWIRE has a successful track record of continually meeting or exceeding customer's expectations . It is this approach that DAVWIRE is founded upon.
