Great Interest in Kärcher Futuretech Products at the BRIDEX Exhibition, August 2007

 
Winnenden, August 2007 – Kärcher Futuretech GmbH was invited by the Sultanate of Brunei to participate in the first defence exhibition of the kingdom in the North of Borneo, the "Brunei Darussalam International Defence Exhibition and Forum", short BRIDEX. On the occasion of this new event, Kärcher Futuretech presented solutions in the area of mobile water purification, field camp systems and NBC protection systems.

His Majesty,Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah of Brunei, visited the stand personally to get an impression of the new technologies incorporated in the mobile Kärcher Futuretech systems. Many of these products are already in service in the neighbouring countries Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. Lieutenant General Dato' Sharon Bin Ibrahim, the "Chief of Armed Forces Staff, Malaysia", expressed his great interest in the Kärcher Futuretech products and was given a brief demonstration of the recently ordered mobile laundries by Kärcher Sales Manager Dirk Waldow. Products from the NBC decontamination product range such as SAFEGUARDTM protective suits, DS-10 decon sprayer and MPDS (“Multi Purpose Decontamination System“) are other Kärcher systems which are part of the equipment of the “Royal Malaysian Armed Forces“.

“This exhibition was an excellent opportunity to establish many international contacts and expand our activities on the Asian market“, states Dirk Waldow in his exceedingly positive summary. The restless Sales Manager was so active that even high-ranking delegations from the Ministries of Defence from Thailand and Laos visited the Kärcher Futuretech stand for an intensive talk about the future potential equipment requirements of their armies and institutions.
