IQPC , International Military Flight Experts to gather for Military Flight Training Middle East 2009 , May 09

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, April 2009: International Quality and Productivity Centre (IQPC), the global provider of tailored, industry-driven conferences, today announced the dates for Military Flight Training Middle East 2009. The two-day conference, with an additional day of interactive workshops, will take place in Abu Dhabi from 17th – 19th May 2009 at Le Royal Meridien Hotel, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Industry leaders will gather to discuss the most critical developments, challenges, solutions and their achievements in ensuring military flight training programmes fulfill 21st century requirements through design and implementation. The summit is an essential networking opportunity for both Gulf and international flight training experts.

Conference Director, Sandra Hijnen says “Training requirements and developments will be discussed, lessons learnt will be shared by the expert international speaker panel and future needs discussed so that the MENA region’s training programmes are developed to the highest standards. Attendees can also immerse themselves in topical discussions through interactive panel sessions.”

Antonio Pineda, Director of Accreditations, Flight Simulations Engineer and Technician Association says: "Flight Training has become an indispensable tool not only to achieve your work, but to achieve your mission". Whilst Bjorn Perrson, Education Manager, Swedish Flying Training School reflects: “Common sense doesn't work in Military Flight Training. It says, among other things, that you have to put a lot of stress on the student to see if they will manage the stress levels of war, but science says that if you can control the levels of stress during flight training, the lessons learned will be stronger and more accessible than in a high stress environment.”

Pineda and Persson will be joined by other key international speakers to share best-practice implementations of military flight training programmes. Other highlights include a presentation by Major General Gregory A. Feest, Commander 19th Air Force and Air Education & Training, Randolph Air Force Base, US Air Force on establishing interoperable Multi-National Training Programmes: The Euro-Nato Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) Prgramme and Wing Commander, Glenn Littlejohns, Deputy Chief Test Pilot, Air Warfare Centre, UK Royal Air Force will discuss military flight training procurement: The Importance of Needs-Based Analysis.

Roger Mulligan, Simulation Consultant, Simulation Industry Association of Australia adds “Training is an essential undertaking for an any military organization. The efficiency of its training will determine a military organisation’s true effectiveness. With today’s rapidly evolving technology and training programs, efficiency in training means being aware of the latest advances in applications and technology. As military flight training requirements can differ globally, attendance at regional events throughout the world ensures access to markets and suppliers tailored to regional requirements, gaining an invaluable edge in a contracting economic environment. Military Flight training Middle East is the perfect way to address those needs and networks with like minded people involved in Flight Training.

Delegates will also benefit from two interactive workshop on “Training for Combat Pilots” led by the UK Ministry of Defense and European Training & Simulation Association News  and on Rotary Wing Training led by the UK Royal Air Force.
